The other Christmas special you’re thinking of is called Nestor the Long-Eared Donkey. That one made a definite impression on me because his mother freezes to death and I felt the same way I did about Bambi, traumatized. 🙂

Are you guys still doing the podcast? I just found it, and it’s a dream come true. I really love the information you guys have been putting out. I also wondered if you guys are working moms or know other working moms (full timers) who homeschool? Where could I get information about that? I am so anxious. This will be my first year (this coming fall) where my daughter will be in TK..

So glad you found us! Yes, we are still doing it, just not very often. I am hoping that as soon as I get my other business launched this year that I will have the impetus to get this podcast going again. 🙂 We just haven’t had the time in recent years. But we don’t want to just give it up. We just talked about it last week, in fact. Talked about doing some more “Day in the Life” interviews since they are so easy and people seem to love them the best of all our shows.
We are not fulltime working moms. We’ve been home with our kiddos fulltime all along, so can’t help you there. But we both have done side work, and I’ve been working on my own businesses (not very successfully so far, but I’m hoping that will change soon). Try doing an online search, there may be some communities out there of working moms that homeschool. I know they exist. They pop up on Facebook groups I’m on from time to time. So I know there are people out there making it work. Good luck to you!!
