First off, thank you EVERYONE for all the well wishes, I really appreciate them all..
As our loyal listeners know, I had a hysterectomy on November 21st (AKA my 41st birthday). The initial diagnosis was endometriosis. The surgery went very well, and my recovery, while difficult (I am NOT good at sitting doing nothing, LOL), has gone exactly as expected! What was unexpected was my final diagnosis. I did not in fact have endometriosis, I had a VERY large cyst on my left ovary, which was causing terrible amounts of pain and a perforated uterus.
But that is all in the past now and I am moving forward in my recovery and look forward to getting back to recording VERY soon! We have lots of exciting things coming up, including another giveaway! So stay tuned, and thank you again for listening and supporting us.

So glad to hear you are recovering well. I had my hysterectomy when I was 38 (9 years after the dr. recommended). I had undiagnosed issues at the time. They found pretty bad endometriosis behind everything so they couldn’t see it from the outside. The first week was the worst but it was probably about 6 months before I could move around freely & not feel a pull here or there. Hang in there, take the time you need. We are thinking of you.

I’m so thankful for your recovery! I hope that you are up and running faster than planned. May you be blessed with freedom from pain, a new drive and determination for your future, and a new-found joy and lust for life. I look forward to future podcasts. It’s been such a blessing to have a secular homeschool podcast to listen to. You guys are a Goddess send! 🙂
